I've been living in tumblr land, and South Korea, for almost a year. Basically everything I've done this year (surprisingly a lot, considering how lazy I am) has been mentioned in that blog.

Mostly, life continues as it always has.

I do miss being able to see all my tags for posts, though.

Mom’s surgery went well. They had to take out more lymph nodes for testing than what they hoped (but had not been outside the realm of possibility). Because of that, though, mom currently has a drain that needs to be emptied 2 or 3 times a day. now, i haven't really studied history from the French perspective (because, why bother?), but i was thinking the other day about the thing in The Scottish Play, about the land itself falling apart after someone committed regicide. and the concept of how serious that type of crime is/had to have been to a people who had grown up with a monarchy.
